Milestones

December 4th, 2023: With the support of the Neurorights Foundation and Procuradora Pintarelli, the Law Faculty of the University of São Paolo creates a Neurorights advanced postgraduate degree, to be available March 2024.

October 25th, 2023: The Neurorights Foundation participates in the academic neurorights seminar at University of Fortaleza

July 6th, 2023: Collaboration with Gabriel Souza, vicegovernor of Río Grande do Sul and Procuradora Camila Pintarelli, to discuss Brazil‘s constitutional amendment on Neurorights.

December 20th, 2023: The Brazilian state of Rio Grande Do Sul officially incorporates neurorights into its constitution

November 24th, 2023: Procuradora Pintarelli and the OAB host a discussion in Brazil regarding the inclusion of Neurorights in Civil Code

October 16th, 2023: Brazilian Senator Randolfe Rodriguez announces bill to amend article 5 of Brazil's Constitution to protect brain activity and data. Rio Grande do Sul concurrently shows unanimous support to amend article 234 of state constitution to protect mental integrity

June 12th, 2022: Brazil officially proposes a constitutional amendment protecting neurorights
