Milestones

August 15th, 2023: NRF chairs Rafael Yuste and Jared Genser address neurorights at the 110th session of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD).

July 13st, 2023: NRF participates in the UNESCO International Conference on Ethics of Neurotechnology in Paris.

Oct 9th, 2023: Chair and founder Rafael Yuste provides keynote address on digital rights at the UNAOC and ONUART Foundation’s “Global Dialogue” conference in Geneva.

September 8th, 2022: The Advisory Committee to the UN HRC submits a proposal on neurotechnology and human rights to be considered for approval.

September 13th, 2021: Secretary General of the United Nations highlights neurotechnology as a human rights priority in his Common Agenda.

March 12th, 2020: Chair and Founder Dr. Rafael Yuste meets with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to discuss neurorights.

November 17th, 2023: NRF chairs Rafael Yuste and Jared Genser address human rights consequences of neurotechnology at the 78th Session of the UN Committee Against Torture (CAT).
